| Brief Trail Description |
|
Myeerah Nature Preserve is a 450 acre property with woodlands, two lakes, and native Ohio prairie fields. The hike will be done mostly on trails which travel around the perimeter of the park which are mostly dirt and grass (some gravel). The terrain is mostly rolling with some moderate hills and ravines through the woodland sections. The trail difficulty would be described as moderate. Some sections around the lakes are fairly flat through native prairie. We will park and begin the hike at the Maple camping area marked on the trail map. After the first 5 mile leg we will camp in a field next to the Maple area. Next morning we will hike the 5 mile perimeter trail in the opposite direction to finish the second leg. |
