| Roaring Run Furnace Trail 681 Canal Road Apollo, PA 15613 **There is no address for the actual area we are leaving from – above address will take you to the last house on Canal Road before the road turns into a parking lot for the entrance to the trail. There is a large pavilion at the start of the trail near the parking lot. This is where we will meet to do the weigh-in. Directions from Pittsburgh: Take I-376 to its end (near mile marker 85) and continue onto US 22E, (William Penn Highway). Go 10.1 miles on US 22, exit onto SR 66 north towards Delmont. Turn left onto State Route 66, go 11.6 miles. Take a slight right to stay onto State Route 66 N., go to 2.6 miles, and turn right onto Kiski Avenue. Go 0.8 miles, keep right to continue onto Canal Road. Go 0.5 miles, turn right into the trail head parking lot. |

| The initial 3 miles have a crushed limestone surface and fairly level while the final 2 miles involve some steeper climbs. There are bathroom facilities at the trailhead. | |
