The Beginning of the Trail
We will begin at the staging area and hike and travel over 7 different trails. The desert is stunning with flowers and greenery this time of year. 8 miles each day. Map of the trails and park below. Elevation gain is 170 Ft. Trails are all considered easy. The primary vegetation on the trail comprises saguaros, chain fruit chollas and an abundance of creosote bushes. The trails twists in and out of washes.. Not a lot of shade on the trails. Consider cooling jackets.
If you follow the the map We will start at Trailhead staging area to PM -TA-CF-LS- MR-BL-MK – return to staging area.
Dogs will need to wear boots as there are cholla cactus along the paths. Recommend thick boots such as Ruffwear Polar Trex Winter waterproof boots. We also wear Ruffwear Bark ‘N Boot liners.

Exploring the Beautiful Usery Mountain Regional Park.

Saturday and Sunday April 5th & 6th 6:30 a.m.
Cost is $25 for both days. Entry into the park is $7.00 each day
