Travel south on County Road 29 for approximately 2 miles. Turn right on County Road 18 E\, and continue approximately 2 miles to the entrance station where permits can be purchased for $10. After you have a permit\, return to County Road 18 E and go west to Pinewood Reservoir and Ramsay-Shockey Open Space. (parking lot is the last one at the top of the reservoir\, go past the camping area)\n\n\nBrief Trail Description\n\n\n\nRamsay-Shockey Open Space has a four-mile natural surface trail that climbs gently and then contours around the Pinewood Reservoir.
